Is twitter a good idea? Yes or No?

tweettweet

So I gave twitter a chance for more than a week and this is what I have to say: I like it's simplicity, and is really fun to use, however the amount of time put into it versus how much my visitors get back in return is way too little. So I'll try to post more smaller blogs post more often and still include the regular posts as well.

I want to hear from you. Am I making a good move or do you really enjoy the tweets? BTW, I will always continue blog postings.

I totally agree with you. I feel that the information that you would post on Twitter is stuff that we really don't need to know, and might even find boring. I think that the stuff you put on blogs is much more worthwhile, than what time you had lunch, and where you went to get it. Not that your life is super boring, or unimportant, but I feel like you may be wasting your time and energy doing things on Twitter when you could be spending that time doing other more important things, like scratching your wife's back! :-)

Just read what you had to say about twitter on your site...... here only seconds after I sent you an email about how I'll sign up for it...... that is classic!

Like I said a few seconds ago...... I still feel the same about twitter being kind of psychotic, but I am still going to have it and post to it now and then just to keep it interesting. I still think though that it could have value in a jam or for getting big news out...... like the moment the new baby is born and size and weight stuff that would normally take me days to update on the website.

I personally like reading your blogs because I feel they are a little more personal. Not that twitter couldn't be personal, but it's more fun to me to read an actual post. I know it does take more effort to post but I think it's more worthwhile!! Either way, as long as you're updating once in awhile I'm happy! :) Thank you Jen for calling me tonight, it was fun to talk to you! Sorry I had to cut it short, I don't really get a chance to talk to Cody's mom all that often, so that was a treat. I love you both, hope all is well!!
