This week is a difficult one for my sister, Tiffany, and her husband's family, as they mourn the loss of the patriarch of their family, her father-in-law. Our prayers and hearts go out to them, desiring nothing but peace and comfort at this difficult time. I actually saw this hillside of flowers that happens to be across the street from the cemetery where Tandy was laid to rest, and immediately thought about Tiffany, and how much she would enjoy this beautiful display of nature! So, Paul and I grabbed our camera, and went back when the sunlight was at it's peak, (around 1:45 or so) and Paul got some wonderful shots of the roses and other flowers that are planted there. I wanted to find some way that I could cheer up Tiffany's sweet spirit, and just let her know that I love her, am thinking of her, and I know that even though the timing of Earl's passing makes everything even more difficult for her kids' school schedules etc..., I know that if anyone can pull this crazy timing challenge off, it is definitely Tiffany and Mike! Well, I hope that you enjoy the photos of the flowers, and know that we all love you!

Our condolences,
The Gomez Family
Thank you Sherry for your message of comfort. We are doing well and it was such a treat for my husband to spend alot of time with his Dad near the end. Cancer is terrible, but it allows us to say goodbye and to serve those who gave us life. Thanks so much Paul and Jen for the photos. We'll have to go and see the roses and lavender when I go back. Go right now to the Portland Rose gardens! They are an explosion of beauty!
