Rod and Kathy invited us to their home to celebrate Labor Day. It was really fun because Rod created a nice bonfire in his fire pit in the backyard. We had lots of wonderful food to eat and even got to roast hot dogs over the fire! Kaylene had a blast because she had a little friend to play with. They would run all over the place, throw rocks in the creek over the bridge and play with the hammock and tire swing. I'm glad she was finally having a great day, because earlier she had hit her forehead on the post at the bottom of our stairs. In addition to having a blast, I'm just glad we were able to spend the day with family.
