This year's company Christmas party was awesome (they're always awesome). This year it was in San Jose at the Silver Creek Country Club. The party kicked off with unlimited drinks and appetizers. All the food was good throughout the evening, however I must say that the appetizers were the best, coconut crusted shrimp and mini lamb chops!
This was the first year that EVERY Noah employee was able to attend! Before dinner we had a great time just mingling with everyone, swapping stories, talking about the holiday season and of-course talking about the company. Dinner was buffet style, with an asian flare. Everything from dim-sum to chow-mein to pork tenderloin. I believe everyone enjoyed their dinner, I know we did.
Afterwards, we all just spent time socializing and joking. Carl, one of the Noah investors showed up with a bandanna on and it quickly became the joke of the night. Many of use took our turns wearing it and laughing over it. Good times! Good times! I shouldn't blog this, but I'm gonna anyway. When we were all just hanging out socializing, I dared Lamont to grab the remained of the tenderloin and take a bite out of it. Without hesitation, he grabbed it with his bare hands and took a huge honking bite out of it. Vince and I were rolling with laughter, it was sooo funny!

Desert finally came and it was a mango custard and when I took my first bite, I immediately got a very sharp pain in the back of my mouth like someone had stuck a needle there. I thought it was bizzare, so being as stupid as I am, I took another bite and again, major pain! There must of been something in there that I am allergic to, but as far as my knowledge goes, I'm only allergic to walnuts & pecans and trust me, there wasn't any nuts in this desert. It did taste good, oh well!
By this time, many of the employees were plastered and that meant it was time for gifts. This year, Noah went over and above from the previous year. Let me just say this, everything was bigger and bader! In short, we got: gift cards, a Noah denim shirt with a 100 dollar bill in the pocket, a speaker system for our iPods from last years party, a bonus check and a 15 cent dividend! Too cool!
After a while, people started to trickle there way out. I can't say I expected it was gonna be this good this year or that it will be next year, but I can say that I love the direction of where the company is going and especially love being a part of it all. I really makes a difference when you work in a place where you're respect and you love what you do! Thank you Noah.
