Christmas 2007

IMG_8072

Christmas this year was quite enjoyable, mainly just because I got to be with family. We got to visit with both sides of the family. Besides enjoying all the Christmas lights as talked about in my previous post, here are a couple highlights this year. Since we all stayed local this year, it was pretty easy to see everyone. Tony tricked just about everyone into thinking that he had to work on Christmas day and showed up to surprise everyone. It was fun to have him there and enjoy his famous buffalo wings. Speaking of food, we had a wonderful Christmas dinner with carved turkey and sliced ham with rolls and all the fixings to make sandwiches, which is my kind of meal! We had plenty of appetizers and deserts and had plenty of left-overs. We all stuffed ourselves to the brim. There were several noteworthy gifts to remember. About a month earlier at Thanksgiving time, Grandpa gave me a thousands bucks to get Grandma a laptop for her Christmas/Birthday gift. Grandma was pretty surprised or should I say shocked and Grandpa was thoroughly touched. Also, Nancy got Mom a special bracelet with all of her children's names on it, including Teresa and Peter. Sherry got Mom a special personalized calendar with all our pictures and dates on it. Anyway, it was a year to remember. Make sure to check out all the pictures, there's a lot of them but you can pick and choose which ones you want to see.
