Tandy - Monday
Things have gotten a little better every day, as her kidneys and liver are showing minute amounts of improvement. They are also going to go in on Tuesday and attempt to change the dressing on her large opening over her abdomen. We were told that it would be a minimum of at least three surgeries, and skin grafts to properly close that hole. The new doctor of the week (they are on for seven days straight, then go back to private practices for six weeks then are back at the hospital) is the fourth one to look over her condition, and we like to call him "gloom and doom #3" as he told us yesterday, "I still think that there is a good chance that she will not make it. Also, any small problem like an infection, any internal bleeding or other could be the thing that would take her life." We like to ignore him to an extent. While we feel it is important to be told what bad things can happen, we like to remember that we know what kind of a fighter Tandy is, and we also more importantly, have the Lord on our side. We have not lost hope, and appreciate the continued support and prayers of all family and friends.
