Tandy made it through the night ok, and we are waiting to hear from the doctor's team as to what her prognosis is for now. Currently her vitals are stable, she has a slight fever from her surgery, but we were told to expect that as her body is reacting to the stress of the situation. More news to follow, as news is available.

Dear Brother and Sister Childs, Jen, and the rest of Tandy's extended family:
Hello. My name is Shane Baker. Rod Robbins played the sleuth to track me down and contact me early last week at Jen's request. I am, as you know, a friend of Tandy's from our day's together at BYU, and the brother of Guy Baker. I am so grateful for the phone conversations that I have had with Jen last week, and especially for her call this past Monday. It has meant a great deal to me that your family knew that I would want to be contacted. My parents are still living in New Mexico (in the home town where I grew up), and both of my brothers are also still living there. My two sisters now live in Arizona. I have gotten word out to all of them regarding Tandy's condition. They all know Tandy, remember her very fondly, and have expressed their love and concern on her behalf. You can rest assured that many prayers have been offered from all the scattered members of my family, and have been joined with the prayers from all of the other people who have been pleading on Tandy's behalf. My family sends an expression of our deepest concern, and all our love and support for Tandy, her boys, and your entire family at this time. We all have a very fond spot in our hearts for Tandy and are pulling for her in every possible way. At the same time, we recognize these things remain, ultimately, in the hands of the Lord. I have placed Tandy's name on the prayer roll at the Bosie Temple. We send all our love and support. Shane and Katie Baker, Boise, Idaho.
Jen, Mel, and Monique,
Hello, I am so so so glad she's hanging in there. Everyday I am checking the computer morning, noon and night, thinking of Tandy and praying for the best!! Me and Amanda are saying prayers together everyday for her. You know me Jen, I think I have prayed more now , then since I was a kid. I can't help but think about what you guys are going through, hope you all get your rest somehow. Jen we LUV you!!! Your such a wonderful, dedicated sister!!!
Love your Sis-in-Law,
Sherry
XOXOXOXOX
The Ogden Family continues the vigil to watch for updates on our dear Tandy.
Please, if there is anything that I can do, let me know. I am in Vancouver and would love to be able to come see her when the time is right. Right now seems to be pretty touch and go... However, if she does have a moment when she is conscious could you please tell her that Olivia, Amanda, Emily, George, Sarah, Laurie and Bryan say "Tandy, We made Jam!" in a very flourishing Tandy manner? I hope that will make her smile!
Please do let me know if their is anything at all that I can do for your family.
Much love and prayers sent your way,
Olivia Heilmann

hehe - just have to add this, too -- Are you listening, Tandy?? Remember...."I made jaaaaaam!!!!" We were there at her house on 4th Plain when she had finished her very first batch of strawberry jam - EVER - she was a very proud 'jam maker' - and it was deee-lish-ous =) Hang in there lady! we're all praying for you -- I know =) you just like the drama and attention, right??!! God Bless you and your family in this trial!!
We are so grateful for this blog. It would be so very difficult for you to update everyone who is following Tandy's condition without it. What a wonderful communications tool. Tandy and your extended family are in every one of our family's prayers.
